INTRODUCING THE RAGAZZI

As an art collection, the RAGAZZI is predominately driven by one thing… independence.

Becoming who you want to be in this world can be tough – it takes courage, it takes work, but for the most part it takes belief. This collection is about inspiring people to think beyond their present selves, beyond their current lives, beyond their issues. It’s a collection about possibility. 

The RAGAZZI aren’t necessarily portraits in a true sense. Of course they’re based on people, but they’ve not been created to serve as a depiction of that particular person, their personality or character traits. 

For me they’re more of a momento mori, a reminder to not waste time, not live someone else’s version of reality, and to not be bound by society’s expectations and conventions. They’re a reminder that life is short, so whatever it is you choose to do, you really can’t waste this opportunity to make it happen. As John Lennon once said ‘Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans’.

Become the person you need to be. You owe it to yourself and the world needs your uniqueness.
